DEI (PPC) energy has proceeded with a large-scale digitization process, focusing on online connections and with the primary goal of facilitating and satisfying its customers. They wanted a new website & apps to reflect that.

Won the innovation award at the Economist’s Beyond Innovation Awards ’22

The newly revamped website won the innovation award at the Economist’s Beyond Innovation Awards 22. The Economist announced the award during their event Technology and Innovation in 2022 and Beyond.

I was the senior interaction designer of the project.

Together with the user experience research team, I partook in the UX processes: brainstorming, workshops, consumer journey maps, personas, user flows, taxonomies, content audits, sitemaps, card sorting, sketching, and wireframes.

I co-designed the design system and served as the head of interaction design. I also co-designed the e-appointment application that is closely connected to the website.

Driving Success by Empowering Users

The revamped dei.gr/en marks a critical advancement in PPC’s digital transformation, offering personalized customer experiences. This impact is evident in the performance metrics recorded six months after the platform’s introduction:


  • 1.3 million users visited dei.gr/en
  • 600.000 users actively engaged with the platform.
  • 900.000 online payments were processed through dei.gr/en
  • Users conducted 858.000 online consumption measurements.
